a word from the wise. Do not buy anything shorter than a 121mm spindle if you picked up an LX crankset. I went with the same size that my square tapered BB had and it was way to short. Otherwise, its an easy install and seems very robust. I just wish Shimano did a better job of explaining which parts work with what. Being a bike mechanic is not difficult, but its a full time job trying to figure out which parts will mate with others.
