 not for the 29ers, This review is from: Shimano XTR ST-M975 Dual Control Hydraulic Brake Levers (Misc.) If your into off trail ruff terrain these things are not for you. To easy to down shift with out intent. For all other use they are great. For winter riding when your fingers are numb up shifting is a breeze, even under hard stess, just a slight pressure with the thumb; down shifting envoles all you fingers.
