Picture exaggerates knobs. They're OK, run at low pressure., This review is from: Kenda Karma Mountain Bike Tire (Sports) My FS 29er came with Kenda Karma 29x2.2's as original equipment. I hated them at first, because I was running the pressure too high. I'm about 190 lbs geared up, and I was running the tires at 35 PSI. I ride in the Mid Atlantic area, rooty and rocky. The Karmas (especially the rear) were losing traction easily on rocks and roots. The knobs are much lower in height than the picture suggests -- that picture actually looks like a Nevegal.I experimented with lower pressures, going as low as 20 PSI without pinch flats. I ended up settling on about 25 PSI. The Karmas run MUCH better at this pressure. They still don't have as much bite as a more aggressive tire like the almighty Kenda Nevegal, or the Maxxis Ardent (which is my current favorite tire), but they roll a lot better than the Nevegal (Never-Roll, some call it) and still grip fairly well.
