Product Description

CrankBrothers Premium Cleat is ultra durable brass material. This cleat is compatible with the eggbeater, candy, smarty and mallet pedals. The Premium cleat is made for mountain bike shoes, and has a two-hole bolt pattern. These cleats weigh 30 grams per pair, have a six degree float, and 15 or 20 degree release. It can adjust 2.2mm to the left or right. Shims are included.

Why add the weight? Ive gone through 2 sets of actual eggbeater pedals and still havent needed to replace my cleats. Sure... they're about ready to go, but it goes to show how long they last. Make sure that you put them on the correct direction (READ THE MANUAL), because it actually makes a slight difference with the release angle of your foot, depending on which way you screw them in. If you arent careful, you might have your left foot popping out at 15 degrees and right foot at 25 - disorienting in a tight situation.
